The X field is located in the southwestern part of block NX89 Kentan Basin Libya. This produced from Hailan multilayer consolidated sandstone with moderate rock property and a relatively low energy supplying. reserve subsurface sources declining years. Therefore, techniques were combined to achieve optimization increase hydrocarbon recovery. In order understand formation reservoir facilitate oil production, global hydraulic element technique was used quantify types. addition, stratigraphic modified Lorenz plot for layering. Reservoir heterogeneity identified using Dykstra-Parsons coefficient. Leverett J-function average 13 capillary pressure curves into four main represent whole based on flow zone indicator values. Capillary calculated plotted normalized water saturation; single curve defined rest curves. Water saturation multiple J-functions compared available logs. With J-functions, matching results good both high low-quality layers, whereas J-function, match poor, especially FZI layers such as H4c H6a. Four types this ranging medium quality six different obtained. heterogeneous coefficient value approximately 0.72 0.70. All approaches paper validated showed improved recovery factor.

Estimation of Flow Zone Indicator Distribution by Using Seismic Data: A Case Study from a Central Iranian Oilfield
Flow unit characterization plays an important role in heterogeneity analysis and reservoir simulation studies. Usually, a correct description of the lateral variations of reservoir is associated with uncertainties. From this point of view, the well data alone does not cover reservoir properties. Because of large well distances, it is difficult to build the model of a heterogenic reservoir, but ...

uncertainty in the financial market will be driven by underlying brownian motions, while the assets are assumed to be general stochastic processes adapted to the filtration of the brownian motions. the goal of this study is to calculate the accumulated wealth in order to optimize the expected terminal value using a suitable utility function. this thesis introduced the lim-wong’s benchmark fun...
15 صفحه اولA Novel Indicator to Predict the Onset of Instability of a Gravitational Flow on a Slope
In order to present a quantitative indicator for the onset of instability, in this paper, the critical points of a stratified gravitational flow on a slope are found and analyzed. These points are obtained by means of the solution of the two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations via the standard Arakawa-C finite-difference method. Results show that in the marginal Richardson numbers, the critical...

In this study, direct laboratory measurements of unsteady-state imbibition test are used in a new approach to obtain relative permeability curves with no predetermined functionality assumptions. Four equations of continuity, Darcy’s law, cumulative oil production, and water fractional flow are employed in combination together under certain assumptions to present the new approach which interpret...
متن کاملA Novel Integrated Approach to Oil Production Optimization and Limiting the Water Cut Using Intelligent Well Concept: Using Case Studies
Intelligent well technology has provided facility for real time production control through use of subsurface instrumentation. Early detection of water production allows for a prompt remedial action. Effective water control requires the appropriate performance of individual devices in wells on maintaining the equilibrium between water and oil production over the entire field life. However, there...
